Random Weekend and more.....

Hunter's "game face"
Chillin' watching Daddy play soccer
Quinn's friend "Hannah" at the soccer fields. I realize this is an awful picture but I had to post it...upon meeting this little lady, I asked "what's your name?" She replies "Hannah" and I said "Hannah, this is Quinn" and Quinn says "nice meet you Hannah!" Awwww......
Hunter's friend at the park - "Parker"- "like the Park, Mommy...or like where you PARK your car?" He couldn't get over the fact that the kid's name was Parker.
Homemade Kool-Aid popsicles with extra sugar :)

We had a fun filled weekend. A little baseball at the ballpark on Friday - Konnor discovered he can hit equally as well left-handed as he can right-handed so we will do our best to keep that talent up for him! We had to rise bright and early on Saturday for an 8am soccer game. The Purple Tigers took their first loss - but, not being a snobby parent or anything - the other team left their gigantic, well-skilled goalie in the entire game - nothing could get past him! On top of that, our coach put the good guys on defense for the first half of the game to give the other kids some playing time. Which, I do think is great! Losing 1-2 was a good lesson for our kiddos to learn - b/c after all, winning isn't everything. Konnor got a chance to play goalie - he stopped at least 4 from getting past him and was never scored on! Good job buddy!

We then had a birthday party at My Gym on Saturday afternoon. Konnor and Quinn were the lucky two who weren't invited but got to join in on the fun anyway. The boys had a blast. Aunt Steph came over and spoiled them with lots of new books and extra love!

Sunday I had their pictures taken at the picture studio. It was an interesting start to the day - but they turned out pretty stinkin' cute like they always do. I will post a few of the pictures tomorrow since I think I already have 2-3 posts posting at once tonight! It's amazing how much I can get done without the kiddos around!

Sunday afternoon we had a little project to do (will post pictures above). It turned out wonderful and I'm very excited to get them hung up! The boys loved it and we will most certainly do something of the sorts again.

Off to church Sunday afternoon and then to Sanjog's soccer game. We left the game at 9:30 and the boys fell fast asleep on our long 30 minute trek home.

Why is it that the weekends always go so fast??? I soooo hate Monday's when I have to turn them over to Sanjog. The time really flies by too quickly...but we make the best of it so I guess that's the best we can do, right?

Enjoy!
